Yes! Most will read it and dictate the whole sentence first, but I try to use words that will require a closer look for spelling. I’ve done this with a Reading Simplified Sort It word list before, really gets them to focus on the spelling patterns.

Love this so much. Dictation is so powerful. I can see ways to implement this with my kindergarten! Amazing routines and clear expectations!
