Come and learn from 2nd grade teacher Tara Hess and MS interventionist Sara Quinn, as they invite us inside their classrooms and share how they use a gist routine to help their students get inside the complex texts they’re reading and discussing everyday. You will leave with some replicable and useable routines and materials that you can bring to your class the very next day.
I’m really excited for this session. Both Tara and Sara are true teacher-scientists. They’ve implemented evidence-based routines in their classrooms, tinkered with them based on student data, and are constantly looking for ways to make them work better for their students. This is a great opportunity for curious teachers to learn from two experienced and knowledge practitioners, who are dedicated to continuous improvement AND are getting great results. As always, we’ll record the event and share it with everyone who registers.
